Fourteen new students began their EGTI Session 3 training programs on Monday, July 31 supported by our terrific EGTI staff and part-time community living support and overnight staff. Currently, they are half-way through their 10-week programs with internships beginning in just one week. Read more

Prospective students and guardians, educators, counselors, case managers and other service providers are offered opportunities each month to attend a scheduled facility and EGTI tour. The visit takes approximately two hours and includes a walking tour of the hotel, restaurant and training institute as well as some basic information about the curriculum. To reserve space for a general tour, please contact us and include your preferred date and party size in the comments section.

Individuals interested in attending EGTI are expected to be independent in many of the skills listed within the prerequisites document below. They should receive specific instruction and training on these skills before applying. Strategies and supports should be in place to address any of the skills that remain a challenge.
