Session 4 Students at Six Weeks

The 17 students participating in Session 4 programs which include training for jobs as a Front Desk Agent, Prep Cook, in Dietary Services and Heart of House (housekeeping), have already passed the six week mark in their respective courses. One set of students will complete their programs in late-November, while the second set will wrap up by mid-December with all students celebrating graduation together on Saturday, Dec. 17. Apply Now for 2017

The 2017 class schedule was recently announced. It's not too early to begin the application process! The first session begins Jan. 9 and includes four popular programs. Interviews are taking place now, so please submit applications ASAP. Read more

Graduate Updates

Zach Fewell, a Kokomo native and Sept. 10 graduate of the EGTI Heart of House (housekeeping) program recently landed a janitorial position with Hayes International, a developer and manufacturer of high-performance nickel- and cobalt-based alloys for use in high-temperature and corrosion applications. What program do I choose?

Prospective students should choose only one program for their training experience. Past work or volunteer experience or other exposure can help lead them to their decision. Some students have a very clear idea of which program most appeals to them and is the best fit for their skills and strengths. Attend the November General Tour

Nov. 28, 9-11 a.m.

Prospective students and guardians, educators, counselors, case managers and other service providers are offered opportunities throughout the year to attend a scheduled facility and EGTI tour. The visit takes approximately two hours and includes a walking tour of the hotel, restaurant and training institute as well as some basic information about the curriculum. Read more
