It's hard to believe but we're more than half-way through our first training session. We’ve seen our students grow by leaps and bounds in their skills development both on and off the job. Our first student to pass all three aspects of the Community Access Checklist was Leslie, a Merrillville, IN native. She has navigated the use of public transportation as a part of that accomplishment and is able to pursue one of her favorite leisure pastimes…shopping! Read more
Born and raised in Muncie, Indiana, Brittney graduated from Ball State University with a Masters in Special Education and special education director's license. She taught at Muncie Community Schools for five years in a moderate, life skills high school classroom before joining the Erskine Green Training Institute team as an instructor. Currently, she is pursuing a doctorate degree at Ball State University in Educational Leadership.
The training programs of the Institute are more affordable than you may think. There are a variety of funding avenues available to prospective students. Currently, scholarship dollars are immediately available and are being awarded by the Institute courtesy of a grant provided by AWS Foundation. More scholarship dollars are being sought to continue to support qualified applicants. Read more
