Congratulations!

The last few weeks of training session one were converted to eLearning due to COVID-19. Although not ideal, our students did an outstanding job participating and completing assigned work through this format. On April 3, EGTI held a virtual graduation celebrating the accomplishments these 15 students achieved.

Virtual EGTI

EGTI is finishing the second week of Virtual EGTI. Skill videos are being posted Monday-Thursday at 10am EST for individuals to watch and then practice while at home. Visit our Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube to view the videos!

CAMP EGTI – Deadline Extended

Application deadline has been EXTENDED to Friday, May 8! Camp EGTI information can be found our website. The details and application can be accessed by clicking on the button below. Campers will move in July 5, 2020 at 5:00pm EST and move out on July 24, 2020 at 11:00am EST. The camp is for those 18-22 years old and will focus on skills related to transition from high school to adulthood.

Accepting Applications

Training Session 3 We are taking applications for Training Session 3. Training Session 3 runs from July 6 to October 2 . Late applications are being accepted.

Scholarship Opportunity

EGTI has received funding through the AWS Foundation to utilize as student scholarships. To be eligible, a student must reside within one of the eleven northeast Indiana counties: Steuben, DeKalb, Noble, Kosciusko, Whitley, Allen, Wabash, Huntington, Wells, Adam, and Grant.

Staff spotlight

Meet Sarah, instructor of front desk agent and healthcare programs. Sarah describes EGTI as awesome, growth, and confidence! If she could learn to do anything, it would be how to become an astronaut! She would also love to have a ranch with all kinds of rescued animals. Sarah enjoys working out to keep her body healthy! If provided the opportunity to go anywhere, she would love to go see the Northern Lights!   Meet Daniel, student Support Specialist with front desk agent and healthcare programs. Daniel describes EGTI as life-changing, community-growth, and opportunity. He has a passion for writing and strives to see his name in a bookstore one day! Daniel loves when his mother cooks Dominican food – yum! He enjoys traveling and would enjoy going to the Netherlands or Scotland if the opportunity arose.
