Training Session 1: Students in Action

Students in training session one continue to be busy both on and off the job! Enjoying sporting events on Ball State's campus is one of the many activities students have enjoyed. Students in the Kitchen Cook training program have all passed the exam to receive their Kitchen Cook certification through the American Hotel and Lodging Association. Pictured above are the Kitchen Cook students holding their certifications! Our Patient Transport student has mastered nearly all of the job skills. Most recently, she learned how to transfer patients from their hospital bed to other transport equipment. Continued practice will increase her comfort with this! Follow us on social media to stay up-to-date on the weekly happenings!

Student Update

Meet Zach! Zach graduated from the Front Desk Agent training program at EGTI in December of 2016. In 2017, he accepted a Front Desk Agent job at the Courtyard Muncie and has been commuting a far distance for over a year. This past weekend, Zach made the big step of moving into his own apartment which will make his commute much shorter and his independence much greater. A huge congrats to Zach, his family, and his support team!
