Meet Student Support Specialist, Fenway Park!


Fenway came to us most recently from Northeast Community College in Norfolk, Nebraska where he served as a Residence Life Coordinator and has a background in Leadership and Higher Education. He attended Indiana Wesleyan University where he earned his Bachelor of Sciences degree in Leadership and then went on to attend Geneva College to earn his Masters of Arts degree in Higher Education.

Graduate Update

Zach Arland, just received a raise.           Steven Catania secured employment at a Fairfield Inn.           Alex Nunez reached his one year anniversary and received a raise.           Jeremiah Robinson is working at Hubbard Hill Retirement Center.               Joseph Williams secured employment at an MCL Cafeteria.

Attend the February General Tour

Monday, February 26, 9 a.m. Prospective students and guardians, educators, counselors, case managers and other service providers are offered opportunities each month to attend a scheduled facility and EGTI tour. The visit takes approximately two hours and includes a walking tour of the hotel, restaurant and training institute as well as some basic information about the curriculum. To reserve space for a general tour, please contact us and include your preferred date and party size in the comments section. Groups may schedule a private tour on alternate dates by calling 317-224-0239.

Career Sampling Session

Due to high demand two new sets of February dates have been added to the calendar of Career Sampling Sessions. Only five spots remain for February, then EGTI is booked for new CSS experiences until June. Session 1 Students Off to an Amazing Start!

Joining the student ranks of EGTI on January 8 are eight new students. This session features both 10- and 13-week training curriculum including Kitchen Cook (restaurant), Front Desk Agent and Heart of the House (hotel) and Inventory Distribution (healthcare). Already wrapping up their first month of job training, each student is gaining not only hands-on job training and experience but independent living skills and building confidence by leaps and bounds! Here, students met with one of Muncie's local law enforcement officers who discussed safety with them.
