Join us this Saturday, February 8, for our yearly fundraiser, Cruising for Dreams! Enjoy a Mexican buffet, ballet folklorico dancers, mariachi band, cruise themed activities, piñatas, and much more!
A VIP reception, hosted by students, will take place at 5:30pm EST at EGTI.
Camp EGTI is now LIVE on our website. All the details and application can be accessed online.
Campers will move in July 5, 2020 at 5:00pm EST and move out on July 24, 2020 at 11:00am EST.
The camp is for those 18-22 years old and will focus on skills related to transition from high school to adulthood.
Our spring Visit Day will be held on Monday, April 13, from 9:30am - 12:30pm EST.
The Visit Day includes:
Parent and student panel
EGTI presentation
Facility tour
MITS bus tour
Space is limited, so please register ASAP.
Training Session 2
We are still accepting applications for Training Session 2 of 2020. Training Session 2 runs from April 6 to June 12.
The five training programs being offered include:
- Host/Server Assistant (restaurant)
- Dishwasher/Server Assistant (restaurant)
- Nutrition Services (healthcare)
- Environmental Services (healthcare)
- Supply Chain: Inventory Distribution (healthcare)
Training Session 3
We are taking applications for Training Session 3 of 2020. Training Session 3 runs from July 6 to October 2. Applications are due by April 6.
The four training programs being offered include:
- Kitchen Cook (restaurant)
- Heart of the House (hotel)
- Front Desk Agent (hotel)
- Patient Transport Chain (healthcare)

We have had students attend EGTI from 50 out of the 92 counties in the State of Indiana.
One student attended from Illinois and another student from Ohio.
