Dan Stewart, Retired Arc Executive
Dan has worked in the rehabilitation field for 48 years recently retiring as the President/CEO of Achieva Resources Corporation. He was a member of the Indiana State Rehabilitation Commission for 10-years serving as Chairman twice. He was active on the National Council of Executives of The Arc serving on their Board for 6 years. He started the Wayne County Guardianship Program serving over 106 people with disabilities for 10 counties. His expertise in working with people with disabilities will be an asset to the Foundation.
Jennifer Schrier, Director of Finance and Systems, Central Indiana Community Foundation, Indianapolis, IN
Jennifer oversees the day-to-day administration of CICF’s investments and information technology systems. A licensed CPA, Jennifer has a wealth of experience working with nonprofits. She was an auditor of nonprofit organizations with BKD, LLP for nine years and a controller for the Indianapolis Museum of Art for 2.5 years prior to joining CICF.
James M. Hammond, III, Retired Business Executive
Jim brings insight to the field of disability services with decades of experience and commitment to Indiana’s citizens with disabilities. He worked at community-based nonprofits until he was recruited by INARF (Indiana Association of Rehabilitation Facilities), where he recently retired as President and CEO after 34 years.
Dawn Brand Fluhler, Director of Experience Design Application, Indiana University Health East Central Region, Muncie, IN
Dawn has an academic background in pre-medicine, journalism, public relations and wellness management, and a professional background as an EMT, a brand advocate and a storyteller. She has been deeply involved in the Muncie community throughout her adult life, serving a 15-year term as a 4-H volunteer leader, a 12-year term as a Girl Scout leader, a 6-year term on the Hearts & Hands United board of directors, two terms as Deacon and one as President at First Presbyterian Church, and one term on The Star Press editorial board.

Jeff was raised in a family business that owned and operated three restaurants and learned the business from the ground up. Having a son born with Down syndrome gave him the opportunity to get involved in the disability community on the local, state and national levels. Jeff has had leadership positions in both for profit and not for profit organizations and currently serves as Chief Development Officer at The Strategies.

Cody is a valued team member of IRHA which works to enhance the health and well-being of rural Hoosiers through leadership, education, advocacy, collaboration, and resource development. In addition, he is an Adjunct Faculty at Ivy Tech Community College, a doctoral candidate at IUPUI in Health Policy and Management, and serves as president of The Arc of Indiana board of directors.
