The second graduation ceremony of 2017 was held Friday, June 30, from 6 to 7 pm with a reception and refreshments following for family and friends. The graduates were celebrated and honored, with their accomplishments being recognized in a special class video prepared and premiered at the event.
The evening featured four speakers, one EGTI graduate, Morgan Hickman a Scotty’s Brewhouse employee originally from Martinsville who recently moved into his own apartment in downtown Indianapolis, and three graduating students, Eric Barron, a Fort Wayne native, Randy Butcher, hailing from Fountain City, and Abigail Davis from Indianapolis.
EGTI applauds the hard work and dedication of each of its students as they go out to join the workforce and apply not only the job skills but the life skills learned through its program. To date, 73% of EGTI grads have accepted employment with more now ready to embark on their job search.
