10 weeks flew by for the newest grads of EGTI’s first 2017 session. The 10 students studied in areas including Heart of the House (housekeeping/hotel), Hosting/Server Assistant (restaurant), and in a hospital setting—Patient Transporting and Environmental Services (housekeeping) both part of our healthcare support program operated in partnership with IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital. Graduation ceremonies were held at the Courtyard Muncie at Horizon Convention Center on Friday, March 17 to the cheers and applause of more than 100 family and friends. December EGTI graduate, Zach Arland, and current student, Sean Giannetti, addressed the crowd, sharing some of their experiences and expressing gratitude to their families and well wishes to the new graduating class. We also wish these grads all the best as they embark on an exciting path that includes community-based employment and opportunities to live the adult life of their choosing.
