Erskine Green Training Institute held it's inaugural Camp EGTI during the month of July. We had 8 campers that joined us as we focused on transition - improving skills to assist with the transition from school to adulthood. The video below provides a look into their three weeks at Camp EGTI!

Individuals interested in attending EGTI are expected to be independent in many of the skills listed within the prerequisites document. They should receive specific instruction and training on these skills before applying. Strategies and supports should be in place to address any of the skills that remain a challenge.
EGTI provides general tours once a month to prospective students, families, educators, counselors, case managers and other service providers. The visit takes approximately two hours and includes a walking tour of the hotel, restaurant, and EGTI as well as a presentation about the overall programming.
Josh N. graduated from EGTI in 2019 after training in the Nutrition Services healthcare program. Upon graduating, he returned home to Lake county where he has successfully been employed at Franciscan Health Dyer for one year! Congratulations, Josh, on reaching your ONE YEAR work anniversary!
Josh also has earned his drivers license and will soon be starting college classes in August. Keep reaching your dreams and goals!
