General Tours & Virtual Presentations
EGTI provides general tours onsite at EGTI Muncie and virtual presentations once a month to prospective students, families, educators, counselors, case managers and other service providers. The general tour at EGTI Muncie takes approximately two hours and includes a walking tour of the facility as well as a presentation about the overall programming. To ensure there is enough seating, a registration is needed from each person attending.
For overnight accommodations, EGTI has established a corporate rate with Courtyard Muncie at Horizon Convention Center.
Career Sampling Sessions
Throughout the year, prospective students have several opportunities to attend a two-day Career Sampling Session to observe the various jobs for which EGTI provides training.

During your visit you will move through a variety of rotations:
- EGTI presentation
- Parent Panel (for parents and professionals)
- During this time, prospective students will go to the EGTI classroom to hear from EGTI grads and learn about evening and weekend activities that students participate in during their time at EGTI.
- Tour of EGTI
- Tour on MITS – Muncie’s public bus system utilized by students
