After one month, each of the students is certainly off to great success in their chosen training programs. Session 2 is focusing on two offerings: Dietary Services (Hospital) and Dishwasher/Server Assistant (Restaurant). Students are embracing opportunities to work with their mentors and tutors outside of classroom and training time, and are excited to be learning the job skills required for their specific programs.
Already our students are learning job skills that will lead them to success in their internships. From best practices in handling guest interactions, to utilizing community resources and acclimating to the work environment, students are getting prepared for life and for work as a part of their educational experience with EGTI.
