Meet our first graduating class!

Ethan ArbogastEthan Arbogast—A local student from Gaston, IN and our only commuter for this term, Ethan was the first student to secure a full-time position with benefits right here at our very own Courtyard Muncie. We’re thrilled we’ll still get to see him on a regular basis.
Brandon CifoneBrendan Cifone—When asked about one of his favorite moments at EGTI, Brendan said, “I loved going to LATE NITE events at BSU. My favorite was when I got my faced painted like a zombie!” He is focusing his efforts now on relocating from North Vernon to Indianapolis where he’ll have more job opportunities and access to public transportation.
Heather KingHeather King—With the goal of relocating to Indianapolis with her boyfriend, Brendan, Heather is excited for all of the new opportunities that will be available to her in a larger community including being able to live independently in her own place and finding work in the laundry area of a hotel. The Crown Plaza Union Station is on her short list of preferred properties.
Leslie MorganLeslie Morgan—Hailing from Merrillville, Leslie was a go-getter from day one. She was the first student to pass all areas of our Community Access Checklist giving her the freedom to go out in the community independently. She landed a full-time position in Indianapolis and started immediately following graduation and already found an apartment on a bus line!
Orlando NicksOlando Nicks—When not hustling to clean and stock a room, help set up for an event and assist with general cleaning during his internship at the hotel, Olando loved exploring downtown Muncie on his own and making decisions about what to do in his free time. His hustle certainly paid off as Olando secured a housekeeping position with Homewood Suites on Indy’s north side.
Zach OConnorZach O’ Connor—Our only student participating in the Environmental Services program in this session, Zach readily made himself a part of the IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital Environmental Services team. The area’s supervisor, Tim, was quick to say that Zach is a part of their family. Though they were sad to see him move on, they’re cheering at his choice of work places. Zach is joining the staff at Riley Hospital for Children in a full-time capacity.
Blake ShoaffBlake Shoaff—The first student to officially apply to the Erskine Green Training Institute, Blake came from Greenfield, IN. During his time at EGTI, Blake enjoyed trying different restaurants in Muncie. Blake also took full advantage of the hotel pool! As is the case with a few other students, Blake is securing independent living and will then turn his focus to obtaining employment with the assistance of his job coach.
